Particularly, the country’s paper consumption demand in 2012 is estimated to be 2.9 million tonnes, including writing paper at 585,000 tonnes, newsprint at 70,000 tonnes, industrial packaging paper at 1.79 million tonnes and tissue at 83,100 tonnes.
In 2012, the country is forecasted to continue to be unable to meet the domestic demand and it will have to import about 1.23 million tonnes of paper.
The demand of pulp is estimated at 575,000 tonnes while the local production is estimated at 480,000 tonnes, therefore the country will have to import 95,000 tonnes of pulp next year.
